As I stated last post, John and I had been talking to some locals and they gave us recommendations on restaurants. Believe it or not, one of the recommendations was the Buffet at Wynn.
Usually, John and I will only patronize a buffet if we are being comped. I mean, free is free! I never considered paying for a buffet, as I may be a little snooty on the whole premise. However, that changed when we visited the Buffet at Wynn.
The staff, servers, and line cooks were extremely nice and efficient. Our server was such a sweet woman who made sure we had our drinks, picked up plates, and had such a huge smile. All the areas were clean and the food was hot.
The Buffet, although not huge, does have a great selection. I am an eclectic eater. I do mix and match my cuisines on the dinner table because I like variety. The Buffet at the Wynn provided the sweet spot for my desire for different flavors.
From the salad bar to the snow crab legs, the buffet had samples of different cuisines. Steakhouse fare, Asian, to vegetarian.
I am thankful for the advice of locals not only on food, but also on things to do. When traveling, talk to those who live there. They are eager to share what they think are the best places to go.
Oh, and at full disclosure, we did end up getting comped for our buffet. John was a first timer getting his red card at the Wynn while they were having a promotion. Thanks John!
Until next time, happy creating.
