Juicy, crispy air fryer pork chops paired with a sweet and tangy homemade apple chutney. A quick and impressive dinner that’s perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 thick-cut pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch of ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Drizzle with olive oil and rub to coat evenly.
  3. Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 145°F/63°C).
  4. While the pork chops cook, make the chutney: In a small saucepan, combine diced apples, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, raisins, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  5. Cook the chutney for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and the mixture has thickened slightly.
  6. Remove the pork chops from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the pork chops topped with the warm apple chutney.

Notes

For extra crispy pork chops, pat them dry with paper towels before seasoning. The chutney can be made ahead and reheated. Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more or less brown sugar.
