This creamy, festive dip is made with cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and chopped Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes. Ready in 10 minutes with just 5 ingredients, it’s the perfect last-minute holiday treat served with homemade sugar cookie dippers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Christmas tree cake pieces (about 6–8 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes, chopped)
  • Green food coloring (optional, 3-4 drops)
  • 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 2 tablespoons green sanding sugar
  • 1 tablespoon red sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Take cream cheese out of refrigerator 30 minutes before starting to soften.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with a hand mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes until smooth and fluffy. Scrape down sides.
  3. Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Beat on medium-low speed for 1 minute until fully combined and silky smooth.
  4. If using, add 3-4 drops green food coloring and mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Chop Christmas tree cakes into small bite-sized pieces (about thumbnail size).
  6. Gently fold chopped cake pieces into cream cheese mixture with a rubber spatula until evenly distributed.
  7. Transfer dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  9. Slice refrigerated sugar cookie dough into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Cut each round into quarters to make small dipper-sized pieces. Place on prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  10. Sprinkle green sanding sugar and red sprinkles over cookie pieces, pressing gently to adhere.
  11. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are just barely golden. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  12. Serve chilled dip with cooled cookie dippers.

Notes

Cream cheese must be at room temperature for smooth blending. Do not overmix after adding cake pieces to avoid breaking them into crumbs. Chilling the dip for at least 30 minutes is essential for proper texture. Sugar cookie dippers can be baked up to 3 days ahead and stored in an airtight container. The dip tastes even better the next day as flavors meld.
