A budget-friendly, non-alcoholic holiday punch made with cranberry, orange, and pineapple juices, topped with ginger ale for a fizzy, festive drink that pleases both kids and adults.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups cranberry juice (100% juice, not cocktail blend)
  • 2 cups orange juice (fresh squeezed or store-bought)
  • 1 cup pineapple juice (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • 1/4 cup honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups ginger ale (chilled)
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda (optional, for extra fizz)
  • Ice ring or ice cubes
  • Fresh fruit for garnish (orange slices, cranberries, pomegranate seeds, mint sprigs)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ice ring (optional but recommended): The night before or at least 4 hours ahead, arrange fresh cranberries, orange slices, and mint leaves in a ring mold or bundt pan. Fill with water or cranberry juice and freeze until solid.
  2. Chill all your ingredients: About an hour before serving, put your cranberry juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, and ginger ale in the refrigerator.
  3. Mix the base juices: In your punch bowl or large pitcher, combine the cranberry juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, and lime juice. Stir gently to combine. Taste and adjust tartness.
  4. Sweeten to taste: Add the honey or simple syrup, one tablespoon at a time, stirring and tasting after each addition. Use about 1/4 cup or to taste.
  5. Add the bubbles: Just before serving, slowly pour in the chilled ginger ale and sparkling water (if using). Stir gently.
  6. Add the ice ring: Carefully unmold your ice ring and float it in the punch bowl. If using regular ice cubes, add them now.
  7. Garnish and serve: Add fresh fruit slices, extra cranberries, and mint sprigs to the bowl. Ladle into glasses.
  8. Keep it cold: As the punch gets lower, add more ice cubes or a second smaller ice ring if prepared. Alternatively, keep a backup batch of chilled punch in the fridge to refill the bowl.

Notes

Don’t add the ginger ale until ready to serve to keep the bubbles fresh. The juice base (without ginger ale) can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For a lower sugar version, use diet ginger ale and skip the honey or simple syrup. The punch is best consumed within 2-3 hours after adding the ginger ale.
