A quick and easy non-alcoholic mocktail made with ginger beer, cranberry juice, and fresh lime. Perfect for holiday gatherings or a simple weeknight treat, this festive drink comes together in under 5 minutes with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces (240 ml) ginger beer, chilled (e.g., Fever-Tree or Q Mixers)
  • 4 ounces (120 ml) unsweetened cranberry juice (e.g., Lakewood or R.W. Knudsen)
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) fresh lime juice (about half a lime)
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) club soda or sparkling water, chilled (e.g., Topo Chico)
  • Ice (large cubes preferred)
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish
  • Lime wedge or wheel for garnish
  • Optional: fresh rosemary or mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill your glass in the freezer for 5-10 minutes, or fill with ice water while prepping.
  2. Roll the lime firmly on the counter, cut in half, and juice it. Strain out any seeds.
  3. Fill the chilled glass to the brim with ice.
  4. Pour 4 ounces (120 ml) of cranberry juice over the ice.
  5. Add 1 ounce (30 ml) of fresh lime juice and stir gently to combine.
  6. Slowly pour 8 ounces (240 ml) of ginger beer over the back of a spoon to preserve carbonation.
  7. Top with 2 ounces (60 ml) of club soda or sparkling water.
  8. Stir gently once or twice—do not over-stir.
  9. Garnish with fresh cranberries, a lime wheel, and optionally a sprig of rosemary or mint. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a party, batch the cranberry juice and lime juice up to 24 hours ahead, but add ginger beer and club soda just before serving. Use large ice cubes to prevent dilution. For a spicier version, add a slice of jalapeño. For a sweeter drink, use cranberry cocktail instead of pure juice.
