These no-bake Christmas Oreo balls with white chocolate are a quick and easy holiday treat that comes together in under 20 minutes of active time. With just four simple ingredients, they deliver a crunchy white chocolate shell and a creamy, fudge-like center that looks like you fussed for hours.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.3 oz / 405 g) regular Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz (226 g) block-style cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 12 oz (340 g) white chocolate melting wafers or high-quality white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for thinning chocolate)
  • Holiday sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or powdered sugar (for decoration, optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Place the entire package of Oreos (filling and all) into a food processor. Pulse about 10 times, then run for 15-20 seconds until you have fine, sand-like crumbs. If crushing by hand, place cookies in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix the cream cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a spatula until smooth and fluffy, about 30 seconds.
  3. Combine: Add the Oreo crumbs to the cream cheese. Fold together until fully incorporated, forming a dark, fudgy dough.
  4. Roll into balls: Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll between your palms to form a smooth ball. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat to make 24-28 balls.
  5. Chill: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, or in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  6. Melt the white chocolate: Place white chocolate wafers or chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring well after each interval, until mostly melted. Stir until completely smooth. If too thick, stir in 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or shortening.
  7. Dip the truffles: Remove truffle balls from the freezer. Working one at a time, drop a ball into the melted white chocolate. Use a fork to gently roll until fully coated. Lift out with the fork, tap gently on the edge of the bowl to let excess chocolate drip off, then slide onto the parchment paper.
  8. Add sprinkles: While the white chocolate is still wet, sprinkle decorations on top. Work quickly, doing 3-4 truffles at a time.
  9. Set: Let the truffles sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes until the white chocolate is firm. If in a hurry, refrigerate for 10 minutes.

Notes

Don’t skip the chilling step—cold balls are easier to dip and less likely to fall apart. Use high-quality white chocolate for a smooth coating. Work in batches, taking only 6-8 truffles out of the freezer at a time. These taste even better the next day.
